The second album from Michigan experimental folk band Flashpapr, released in 1999.
Heartfelt, if scrappy, these songs were composed of shimmering strings, warbled vocals, found sounds and textural electronics, garnering comparisons from all ends of the spectrum, from Will Oldham to Oval.
Band members would later go on to play with Ida, His Name Is Alive, Saturday Looks Good To Me and many others, but this quiet, beautiful document stands on it's own.
