Judah’s raw emotion and distorted beats make for an unexpected yet complementary pairing with Anamanaguchi’s particular blend of nostalgic & hopeful melancholy. With a steady bassline and the organic texture of live drums, Anamanaguchi brings the rage beat into the sonic territory of a blown-out Pixies record drowned in video game synths.
