The new streaming service Tidal has a nifty editorial feature called Label Focus, and was kind enough to interview co-founder of Polyvinyl Records, Matt Lunsford. It's a great overview of the last twenty years, and what it's been like to stay a DIY and artist-friendly label during the switch from 7"s and CDs to digital streaming.
