"The songs themselves—which oscillate between spacey introspection and indie-pop propulsion, with lots of lively production choices along the way—evoke this emergence from dark uncertainty to a more self-assured zone. Meanwhile, Medford’s drawl drifts between fried and hushed, and she wisely knows when to mine it for full impact." - Pitchfork

At the beginning of the year IAN SWEET announced her new album, Show Me How You Disappear, arriving 3/5. Thus far we've heard a string of stellar singles – "Drink The Lake," "Dumb Driver," "Power," and "Sword". Following an in-depth and moving Pitchfork Rising interview penned by Quinn Moreland, today we get final single "Sing Till I Cry". Produced by Daniel Fox, the latest track is emotional and anthemic, crashing with percussion and guitar. The accompanying video, created by Jilian Medford & Will Duncan, is made of eccentric collages of images and video clips from Jilian's life, both present and past.

"‘Sing Till I Cry’ encapsulates the aftermath of trauma and how your innocence feels like it's been taken away from you," says Medford. "You forget the simplest things, what it feels like to smile, how to see things clearly. This song prompts me to heal and rediscover that lightness of being. What gives you up? What makes you cry? What gives you love?"
