Before El Kempner kicks off their solo EU/UK tour, they share the first-ever Palehound live album, Live at First Congregational Church, featuring tracks from Eye On The Bat (2023), Black Friday (2019) and Dry Food (2015) recorded by Andrew Sarlo. El explains of the release:

“In December of 2021, I joined my friend Adrianne Lenker for a run of solo west coast shows. We’d toured together a few times with our bands but this was different; we were a much smaller operation and travelling together for all of it. For some of the shows, we drove separately from the van in her green 1970’s convertible, talking about everything from music and queerness, to TV shows. The whole experience was inspiring and liberating and I cherish it as one of my favorite tours i’ve ever been on. This record is from my favorite show of that tour, at the beautiful First Congregational Church in Los Angeles. I am so grateful to have a remnant of such a beautiful time and to be able to share it.” - El Kempner (Palehound)
