We’re beyond thrilled to announce Palehound’s new album, A Place I’ll Always Go, out June 16th! Watch the new music video for the first single “Flowing Over” now via NPR and read more about the new album below!
Palehound is the solo moniker of 24 year old singer, songwriter and guitarist Ellen Kempner.
After receiving praise for her debut album Dry Food (released via Exploding in Sound/Heavenly) from the likes of Pitchfork, NPR, SPIN, Rolling Stone & NME, Palehound is set to release its sophomore album, A Place I’ll Always Go, via Polyvinyl.
With its potent combination of lyrics that cut to the quick and guitar riffs that constantly delight with their inventiveness, A Place I’ll Always Go is the perfect record to introduce Palehound to its largest audience yet.
Kempner and her band have toured the US and Europe with PWR BTTM, Bully, Mitski, Speedy Ortiz, Torres, and many others, in addition to performing at several festivals, including Pickathon, Boston Calling, and more.
Pre-orders are live right now in the Polyvinyl E-Store for the Early Bird Edition 180-Gram Black/Pink Starburst LP (limited to 300 - includes free comic book), 180-Gram Pink LP, Pink Tape, and CD! Pre-orders will ship on June 7th.
