of Montreal just released a fun new video for "it's different for girls." The song is taken off their new album, Innocence Reaches, out 8/12.

Stephen Winter directed the video, which features Ezra Azrieli Holzman, a gender expansive 9-year-old from Brooklyn, tear up the dance floor, then glow in reward from they's community. The video also pays tribute to "Ball Culture and phenomenal femaleness" in an effort to celebrate "being alive, being fabulous, (and) being yourself," Winter's said in the Director's Statement.
