MAN ON MAN Roddy Bottum (Imperial Teen, Faith No More) and his guitar-annihilating partner Joey Holman's pandemic romance turned passion project – showcases the crackling spark of a creative partnership in bloom. The duo's upcoming sophomore release Provincetown (arriving June 16) kicks down the door to the music zeitgeist with a dynamic, electrifying evolution, that is, most of all, an important reflection on queerness at a time when wise, clever and unapologetic LGBTQ+ voices are the most needed to scream from the rooftops. Pre-order your copy of our limited edition Early Bird vinyl on Mellow Yellow and save when you bundle it with any other items in the Provincetown collection.

Today, MAN ON MAN tease listeners with the first taste of the album’s unabashedly proud soul, pulsing synth backbone, and ferocious guitar work with lead single, “Showgirls” directed by Brendan McGowan. Though named for a Provincetown-based variety show, and boasting one of the album’s most blush-inducing one-liners, the track is, at its core, a call-to-action encouraging listeners to surrender to the beauty in spontaneity, to give themselves over to the moment and to the things that make us tick. Watch the poignant music video below -

Provincetown is not only the sound of MAN ON MAN stepping fully into their shared lives and shared band, but also into their role as two singing seers of a current American concern—the ability to exist as yourself, to love who you love how you love them, with self-respect and dignity intact. And, of course, to have fun doing it. Through reflections of love, lust, community and gratitude, the record is a fearless statement piece for today’s queer community the captures a snapshot of what it meant to be queer during this tumultuous time - a kaleidoscopic, fuzzy rock record with irresistible pop flourishes and deliciously provocative lyrics.

The band also announced their US headline tour, including dates supporting Le Tigre - tickets on sale Friday, April 21.
