Last week Yumi Zouma announced Truth or Consequences (Alternate Versions) – a re-imagining of their Polyvinyl debut, which arrived in March amidst the first flush of COVID-19. The band's touring plans were promptly sidelined with no clear alternative in sight. Being the creative individuals they are, Yumi Zouma made the most of their isolation and began to reinterpret the album tracks in this new light. The Alternate Versions were born between the band's bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways. Ten new arrangements that reflect feelings of optimism, helplessness, and a desire to keep exploring with a new track rolled out every Wednesday. Last week we heard "Lie Like You Want Me Back" and today we get to hear "Magazine Bay" in its new form as well.
