Kero Kero Bonito share fresh track "When The Fires Come" - watch the striking video now
London-based bilingual art-pop band Kero Kero Bonito (aka the LEAST boring people on the planet) are back today with an arresting new single called "When The Fires Come". The track touches on some heavy and deeply relevant topics, accompanied by a stunning visual from their long-time video collaborator, director James Hankins.
Gus from KKB shared the following regarding the song's origin story:
""When the Fires Come" is about the worldwide wildfires heralding the seemingly imminent climate change apocalypse. It was partially inspired by our experience on tour in North California last year, when we got caught underneath the smoke cloud from the Camp Fire. The video was shot on the hottest day of 2019 in Britain. It is the first song of a new project."
Kero Kero Bonito released their critically-acclaimed sophomore album Time ‘n’ Place last year and have been touring non-stop since with countless sold-out headline dates, as well as their Coachella debut this past summer. The band is gearing up for another massive North American run beginning in October with support from Negative Gemini. Tickets onsale now:
