Our beloved Aussie angel Julia Jacklin has snagged two prestigious awards this past week for her debut album, Don't Let the Kids Win.

Yesterday, after nailing her set at Newport Folk Festival, Julia accepted AIR's award for Best Independent Blues and Roots Album while still at the airport! (see above photo)

Earlier in the week Julia's Mum (responsible not just for Julia, but also for the blue dream ensemble J dons in her latest video for "Eastwick") accepted APRA AMCOS's Professional Development Award for Popular Contemporary on her daughter's behalf.

We think that's all just wonderful and very well-deserved, so mega congrats Jules! Your Mom rules too!
