Our favorite dudes in New Orleans, Generationals, have just announced their new album, Alix, which will be coming out Sept. 16th! The album was produced by Richard Swift (The Shins, Foxygen, Tennis) and features some of the band's catchiest jams yet (and you thought they couldn't get any catchier!)

Alix will be available on CD, LP ("Early Bird" cloud-colored vinyl edition / limited to 500), cassette and digital formats. It's available for pre-order now through our E-store as well as iTunes.

The new single, "Gold Silver Diamond," debuted on Esquire today. Check it out by clicking HERE or stream it below. It's also up now on Spotify & Rdio.

When describing the track, Ted explains:

"'Gold Silver Diamond' is a song about someone who thinks they’ve been very good at hiding their secrets or hiding who they are, but really they're not. The song was written on one of the coldest days of the year in New Orleans. I think the streets were even icing over a little, which rarely happens here. I had planned to go out to a show, but then looking at the weather, decided to stay in and ended up making this song. It's a feel-good party track that is about emptiness, despair, and the meaningless futility of life. Enjoy, world!"
