Today, we’re thrilled to announce Volume 3 of the Polyvinyl 4-Track Singles Series.

The idea is simple...
We sent this Tascam 4-track cassette recorder to the first artist, they recorded two songs to tape, then mailed the recorder to the next artist to do the same.
Just like in 2014 and 2015, we hand-picked 12 artists we love to record their music on our traveling 4-track in 2017.
Among the artists to record on the device are Beach Slang, Twin Peaks, Japanese Breakfast, Twin Peaks, Mothers, Diet Cig, Tim Kasher (Cursive) and more. The full list of participating artists can be viewed below. In years past, this Tascam has been used by artists such as of Montreal, Cloud Nothings, David Bazan, Deerhoof, and many more.
Each month, subscribers will receive a limited edition, two-song 7”, pressed on colored vinyl and packaged in a jacket featuring custom artwork by legendary Midwestern artist Jay Ryan (The Bird Machine), plus a custom designed box, digital downloads of every song in MP3 & WAV formats, an exclusive 18x24” full color poster, and more! These 7”s are available exclusively through the series and subscriptions are limited to 750. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
