Anna Burch week continues! Last night our girl packed the house out for her Record Release show at Rough Trade in New York. Today she's dropping the title track for her debut album, Quit the Curse, out this Friday, 2/2!

Noisey premiered the song calling it "Anxious and Relatable, Like All Good Indie Rock." Sure, that sounds right. Listen to "Quit the Curse" at the link above and read some clutch #AnnaThoughts on astrology, living in Chicago, and being a cursed Cancer.

For an even more in-depth look into the wonderful wacky world of AB & the making of her new album you can also check out a stellar interview up now courtesy of Gold Flake Paint. Anna shared some serious insight with the good folks of GFP, perfectly summing it all up with, "I’d rather be honest than earnest if that makes sense." Def def def. We get it, and they for sure get it –

"Quit the Curse feels self-complete but emotionally open: confident in its sound and ripe for an exciting live show without bringing closure to its subject. Its summertime palette of disappointment and joy, nonchalance and care, getting high and sinking low, romance and friendships, paint a life in transition, pink and cerulean. Like all great pop records, Burch’s debut wears heavy-hearted words with sparkly poise and a sense of potential."
Next on the list: Anna is TIDAL's Rising Artist of the Week! Check out her curated playlist of her fav morning tunes, including Elliott Smith, Hand Habits, and Stef Chura. Stay tuned: Friday she'll chat with TIDAL about all things Quit the Curse.
Bonus: Anna is on the cover of Detroit Metro Times! The above photo was taken from their recent chat; 'Up late with singer-songwriter Anna Burch'
Don't forget: Anna will be performing a Stereogum Session on Facebook Live at 3:30pm EST. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for more details!
