The widespread effects of COVID-19 within the music community have been profound. As a result, bands that rely on income from touring have been put in an incredibly difficult situation. Within the PV family the following artists have been forced to cancel various shows and in some cases entire tours: Alvvays, Anamanaguchi, Anna Burch, The Get Up Kids, Julia Jacklin, Jay Som, Kero Kero Bonito, of Montreal, Owen, Palehound, Pedro The Lion, Post Animal, Squirrel Flower, STRFKR, Xiu Xiu, and Yumi Zouma. Independent musicians need our help now more than ever. Anything you can do to support these artists during this challenging time will have a significant impact. 

Here are some ways you can assist –

  • buying records and merch
  • streaming and/or downloading albums
  • sharing new releases with your friends/family
  • engaging with artists on social media while practicing social distancing

We will make it through this together. In the meantime, take care of yourselves and be kind to one another.
