Q. I need help with an order or ordering in the E-Store.
A. We created an additional section of FAQs and information about the store just for you!  Click here to jump to it.

Q. How can I book a Polyvinyl artist for a show?
A. You can find each artist’s booking contact on their artist pages.  Click here then pick an artist.

Q. I am a writer/magazine/web publication, how can I get promos?
A.
The best way is to send a copy of the magazine to us first. Sometimes we send out so many promos we can't cover everyone, but if you impress us, odds are we'll send some promos along. If you are a freelance writer and are contacting regarding a print magazine, the best way to get in touch is to email press@polyvinylrecords.com and let us know which publication you are writing for. We only have a limited number of promos and we receive a ton of web-related requests, so please don’t be too bummed if we cannot fulfill all promo requests.

Q. Will Polyvinyl accept my band's demo?
A. The volume of demos has far outweighed our time and ability to listen to them. To be fair and not waste your time and materials, we are no longer able to accept unsolicited demos.

Q. Can my store get promos/posters/info?
A. Yes. Please email our retail dept at: retail@polyvinylrecords.com, or call (217) 403-1752 x231.

Q. Do you have any internships available at Polyvinyl Record Co.?
A. We’re certainly always interested in new faces here at Polyvinyl. We need people to help with the day-to-day operation of our small, independent record label. Internships are unpaid, but are available for college credit. Interns work between eight and 10 hours a week (between 10 and 15 for summer terms) on a regular, flexible schedule, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, feel free to e-mail the intern coordinator Megan at megan.kniepkamp@polyvinylrecords.com.

Q. I just made this killer student movie and I want to place some Polyvinyl songs in the background to really drive the point home. Can I use your music?
A. The appropriate term for this is “music synchronization”, and you might be able to use some of our tunes. Please contact matt@polyvinylrecords.com for more information.

A. Probably.  Email press@polyvinylrecords.com with your specific request and we’ll get you back a quick answer.

Q. I just bought a Polyvinyl LP and while I was gleefully opening it some tiny piece of paper fell out. I almost threw it away until I noticed it mentioned a free digital download. Can you help me with this?
A. Of course. Most of our LPs are on 180 gram vinyl and include a free digital download code, which you can retrieve at http://www.polyvinylrecords.com/iheartvinyl. If you are experiencing problems with your digital download please contact downloads@polyvinylrecords.com. If you have a question as to whether or not a release includes a free digital download code please e-mail mailorder@polyvinylrecords.com.

Q. I would like to be included on the Polyvinyl newsletter for news and gossip about my favorite Polyvinyl artists, special offers, and because I frankly just love getting emails. How can I get on the list?
